Up until the end of June, I taught piano to a very cute 6 year old named Jasmine. Her dad is a Baker at one of those nice hotels, so he is a pro when it comes to desserts and things. Today she came by my house today and brought me a cake! But it wasn't just cake, it was Tiramisu, my favorite! It was absolutely gorgeous, and honestly the best Tiramisu I've ever had in my life. The end.

Well I got the job at Wells Fargo Rock Prairie in College Station! The District Service Manager called me on Sunday with the offer. I will be moving in July 8th, so that's something to look forward to (this parenthetical added to ensure that the sentence does not end with a preposition).

Jeff left for Lackland Air Force Base yesterday, please keep him in your thoughts. I will be able to attend his basic training graduation in the end of July, but after that we probably won't see him for awhile. If anybody wants to roadtrip with the fam to San Antonio for that, you are invited!

So far this summer has kicked off tremendously well. I have lots of things to look forward to this month, one being a job interview at a Wells Fargo in College Station on Friday! I'm very excited about that because it is a perfect position that could easily accomodate to my school schedule. Keep your fingers crossed on this one!

My brother Jeff is leaving next Monday for basics and will be gone for quite awhile. For those of you who are going to be free this Sunday, you are welcome to come visit either the 8:30 or 11:00 service at First Baptist Plano. Jeff will be featured in a special music solo and we will also play a duet during the offertory. It's sort of a goodbye thing since I don't know when I will get to play with him again. Do it, the future depends you!

Edit: Jonathan Ware will be joining us on the piano as well!

Fun Times at Baylor Land

My car broke down in Waco while I was on my way to College Station this weekend. If you were at the intersection of University Parks and Lasalle on Friday night around 1 AM, that was me. Lucky me. After a series of unsuccessful jump starts, we were just about ready to kill ourselves, but not really. Eventually a police officer came by, called for back up, and proceeded to push my car to the parking lot of the Ferrell Center while the other cop stopped traffic for me. Hooray for the law.

Saendy pretty much turned this weekend right side up, offering me her professional chauffeur and quality friendship services. We basically ate and shopped our way through the weekend. Aside from the frustrating moments, it was a smashing good time.

A couple days in Waco + tow truck fees + Firestone Auto Service drama = more than $900 spent. At least I get reward points on my credit card...
